The Thua Thien – Hue provincial People’s Committee has recently approved a plan to build a garden for local rare and precious plants.

According to Phan Thanh Hai, director of the Hue Monuments Conservation Centre, the garden will be established with the hope of preserving and cultivating many rare and precious trees which were donated by different regions of the country to Hue’s ancient relics. Many donated rare and precious species have ceased to exist over the last few years.
The garden is scheduled to be finished and put into operation early next year.
